The leader of the Gambia Moral Congress, Mai Ahmad Fatty has ended his fourteen days self-quarantine at the Badala Park Hotel after recently returning from Senegal, The Standard can reliably report.
The former Interior Minister said he voluntarily submitted himself for quarantine immediately he returned.
He has since been released after testing negative on two occasions.
Fatty said he submitted himself for quarantine as a sign of respect to the regulations and guidelines. “I believe as politicians we should lead by example. I want to use this opportunity to urge all Gambians to respect the precautionary measures put in place by the WHO,” he said.
