Speaking at the presentation at MGI’s Kairaba Avenue office, the Managing Director and CEO of MGI Balla Jassey, said his company shares and support the vision of President Jammeh which is to help in the development of the country’s youths. “We all know that Government alone cannot do all things for the citizens so we at MGI are very delighted to contribute to the development of football and the overall aspirations of the youths in The Gambia as a whole ,” he said.
The WCRFA officials led by their President Abdou Karim Sey thanked Mr Jassey and MGI for the wonderful gesture, adding that the assistance will go a long way to help them in their leagues as well as financially strengthen the twelve football clubs in the league.
According to Mr Sey, his association will use the money to run the league as well as financially support each of the twelve teams in the league.
