The Gambian hip hop star is in the company of African musicians to perform at the Larabi Lara Festival. The concert seeks to raise money for Islamic students, known as ‘talibehs’ who learn the religion under harsh conditions.
But there’s something more to the story. Big Faa had had a spectacular performance in the town of Mbour late March. He’s enjoying popularity there as he was featured on renowned 2STV and local radio stations.
He told Standard Entertainment: “I am currently in Senegal for a big concert and to spread the wings of my music to wider audience. I am also shooting a video for my song called Senegambian, a duet I did with Admow flow.”
