A Nigerian national is in police custody accused of raping a ten-year-old girl.
According to police sources, the minor was sexually abused around the Senegambia strip last week.
“The victim narrated her story to one Aja of Kololi who immediately informed the police,” a police source reported to The Standard.

A medical examination of the girl is reportedly underway to determine what exactly had happened, while the suspect remains in custody at the Kololi Police Station. He is said to be more than 20-years-old.
A family contact confirmed the incident but did not give details, telling The Standard “allow me to talk to the family first”.
