Gambia and AC Horsens defender Bubacarr Sanneh has been rewarded for a strong defensive month of July with a place in the Danish Superliga Team of the Month.
The 22-year-old started in all three league matches for Horsens in July where he became the league’s premier goal scorer in a 2-1 win at AGF Aarhus.
Helping the team to two straight victories, Sanneh excelled in winning 31 tackles and 19 (53%) duels while collecting 9 interceptions, justifying the Scorpion international’s selection.
Timber, as fondly called, helped anchor the Horsens defence to concede just three goals by playing 270 minutes.
He will hope to add to his numbers when his third-placed side welcome Silkeborg IF at the CASA Arena Horsens on Friday evening.
