Reliable sources have informed The Standard that Gambia national team may be camped in Morocco instead of Banjul ahead of the match in Algeria. Our sources added that in this case the coach and a few technicians and officials will leave Banjul to receive the boys in Morroco and prepare them for the final show down in the CAN qualifiers, against Algeria late this month. “It makes sense and will be cheaper arrangement than bringing the boys down here and flying them again to North Africa. The Gambia and Morocco have a strong football retaliations,” our source added.
