Scorpions forward Bubacarr Trawally scored twice for Yanbian though it wasn’t enough as they were thumped 6-2 at Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
The Gambian levelled the scores for Yanbian after 29 minutes before scoring a spectacular Cristiano Ronaldo-like free-kick in the 52nd minute, a feat that earned him a nomination for goal of the week.
His goals only served as a consolation though as the result condemned them to the bottom of the standings after 18 round of matches.

The goals were sixth of the season for Steve whose last strike for the struggling club came in a 1-1 home draw with Shandong Luneng.
They will hope to stop their three-game consecutive losing streak to an end when they host Alexandre Pato, Anthony Modeste and Axel Witsel’s Tianjin Quanjian on Saturday.
