The leadership of the United Democratic Party yesterday decided to put off all planned political meetings for now.
According to reports confirmed by senior party officials, the decision came after an emergency meeting yesterday. The party said the measure is to encourage and promote the advice of health authorities in and outside The Gambia with regard to the prevention and spread of the coronavirus which has already entered countries neighbouring The Gambia.
