The GNOC has over the years sent nearly a dozen coaches from various disciplines to attend the programme in Budapest. Nyass is the second to come from Volleyball after Musa Cassa Taal.
Others from football include Peter Bonu Johnson, Pa Swaray Faye, Francis Jatta from athletics among others.
Mr. Nyass is currently the head coach of Interior volleyball club. He had guided the Gambia to the finals of the Continental cup beach volleyball finals and recently qualified the country to the African Cup of Nations beach volleyball championship.
