My name is Yamundow Riley. I am a 22-year-old Gambian and a Muslim. I am from the most dedicated, hard working ethnic group of our motherland The Gambia (laughs). I live in Banjul with my parents and siblings. I was born on 19 August 1995 at the RVTH in Banjul. I attended St Therese’ s Upper Basic School and completed my high school at SoS in Bakoteh.
I work as a model and I have been doing the catwalk and shows for the past five years. I have won about six crowns as winner and runner-up in beauty contests and pageants. These include Miss Banjul Independence, Miss West Africa Gambia, Miss Nayconf, Queen of Companies, Gambia and Miss Fans Base. My ambition is to be a top international model to raise the flag of The Gambia higher and be an ambassador and role model and create a big platform for the young talented models to look up to.
I will be contesting in the Miss West Coast International Contest billed for February 24 presented by bima Entertainment.
