The Yunus English School has awarded several outstanding graduating grades 9 and 12 students.
Speaking at the graduation of over hundred students, Yunus Silla appreciated the outstanding performance of the graduating students.
“The teachers of Yunus English School deserve all the credits; their dedication and hard work was the result of our success this year. It was really a very difficult time but we are proud that their efforts have not gone in vain,” he said.
Delighted parents, guardians, invitees and well-wishers were entertained with several cultural performances and poems.
The proprietor also expressed appreciation to the government for providing an enabling environment for businesses in the country.
He said his school appreciates the government’s continued support and partnership.
Silla also disclosed that the school has about six buildings which are named after Dr Mariatou Ndow of Ndow’s Comprehensive, Omar Touray, a writer, Sicilia Baldeh of MoBSE and Babucarr Boye.
“To the students, please remember that this is just the beginning to what is a very long journey. Don’t abandon your education to get married or use the backway. I am convinced that when you finish your education, you will achieve all your aspirations,” he said.
