The Gambia has recorded 95 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, the highest report in a single day, bringing to total of 498 confirmed cases since March.
There are now 414 active cases and 9 deaths.
According to the health ministry, a significant proportion of these resulted from mass institutional tests conducted on staff of MRC and Sharab Medical Center.
Meanwhile, according to the report another Covid-19 patient managed at the MRC’s (Fajara) isolation center, has absconded.
