APRC asks for peace, calm

The opposition APRC has issued a statement on the recent clash in Busumbala alleging that its convoy was attacked by UDP supporters.
The police who are investigating the incident however are yet to say which side started the trouble. However, the APRC also called for their supporters to maintain calm and peace.

The release, signed by party spokesman Seedy SK Njie, said the National executive of the party are on top of happenings and collaborating with the investigators of the Busumbala and Mankamang Kunda incidents.
“The APRC thanks all our supporters for their discipline and maximum restraint during both incidents. Further instructions and communications will be shared as events unfold,” the statement said.
