By Omar Bah Four Ecowas Presidents—past and present—and other international diplomats are due in Banjul today for talks with Gambia’s political leaders on the crisis gripping the country as result of the Dec 1 election dispute. Led by President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria, the team comprising Presidents Koroma of Sierra Leone, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia and former President Mahama of Ghana, is expected and is hoping to find a solution to the crisis which has troubled the nation for the past month and risking degenerate into a conflict. Meanwhile, the new minister of information, Seedy Njie and the Coalition’s spokesperson Halifa Sallah, yesterday tabled their arguments before the UN representative for West Africa, Mohammed Ibn Chambas.
