The judgement should have been passed on 25th August but it was postponed. The police prosecutor Sergeant Yaya Colley told journalists that the trial magistrate was not ready with the judgment.
Bai Mass Kah was arraigned on Wednesday 27 November 2013 at the said court. According to the particulars of offence, on 14 November 2013 between the hours of 4pm and 5pm at Latrikunda German, Mr Kah uttered a statement against a photo of the president of The Gambia which one Lamin Camara was posting on his vehicle opposite a tailoring workshop. He had pleaded not guilty to the charge.
