The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced that its president Lamin Kaba Bajo has been appointed by the Bureau of the Fifa Council as a member of the Players’ Status Chamber, now called football tribunal.
Mr. Bajo will serve in this body for four years. The GFF president was formally a member of the Players Status Committee, which has now been broken into three different chambers and renamed the Fifa football tribunal.
The Tribunal shall pass decisions relating to football-related disputes and regulatory applications.
The three Chambers are: Dispute Resolution Chamber; Players’ Status Chamber and the Agents Chamber. The Players’ Status Chamber (PSC)of which Mr. Bajo is a member sets up and monitors compliance with the regulations on the status and transfer of players and determines the status of players for various Fifa competitions.
