Eighteen-year-old Alagie Sallah, a product of Hans football Academy in Bundung, was one of the hottest properties in the just ended Second division league.
The young midfielder is both creative and combative. In the last round of matches Alagie proved instrumental to Club Rhino’s promotion to First Division. Playing in the team’s ultimate and decisive league match, Alagie banged Rhino’s first goal and assisted with the other to beat Gunjur United 2-1.
That victory sealed a promotion place for Rhino and put Alagie Sallah’s name in the club’s history book. ” He was just amazing, rising up to each given assignment without disappointment. He is dependable, too ” a team mate at Rhino commented about Alagie.
The young midfielder now moves back to his Senegal side SMARSH Academy, a partner of parent Gambian club HANS Academy.
Assan Badjie, the founder and CEO of HANs Academy said Alagie had always been hard working, ambitious and aggressively hungry for success. “He does not settle for any thing but victory in any match he played. I know he is set to be successful with that kind attitude,” Assan said.
