Having conquered Manjai in Sunday’s bruising semifinal, Brikama is in pole position to lay claims to the Super Nawettan title after many years of agonising drought.
The Sateyba Boys were initially intimated by the ever-flamboyant Manjai who have every design to take the title but were shocked and thrown into confusion by a lone goal that ended their campaign in tears.
Reacting to the victory Brikama officials said this is the year for them and they are ready to take on Serekunda East who beat Banjul in the second semi-final last night.
The final will be played on Sunday November 18 at a glamorous ceremony the Organising committee says will leave a lasting impression of the image of the Super Nawettan.
