Four teams from KM, Banjul and West Coast regions played in a league format which is now being followed by a technical workshop on matters concerning the proposed National Youth League, its rules and regulations and competition format.
Participants for the technical course are drawn from all the seven regional football associations represented by their presidents or senior executive members as well as regional coaches.
According to a release from the GFF, the objective of the Youth Football Week is to introduce an Under-15 Youth League targeting schools and youths with the aim of introducing player passport to ensure accuracy and player age recording to avoid age irregularity.
