Ranking Fire, alias Born Africans, is preparing to embark on a 4-day charity festival called Unity Jam Festival tour across the Greater Banjul Area with musical concerts.
According to organizers, the tour is to raise funds to support health, education and empower women.
Ranking Fire is expected to be on stage at the Busumbala Youth Center Hall on 23 January, at Brufut on 29 January, at Sukuta on 30 January, at Sun Shine Beach in Bakau on 31 January, at Sanyang Youth Center on 5 February, at Gunjur Karamala Garden on 6 February, and at Lamin on 7 February.
Ranking Fire is a Reggae Dancehall artiste from West Africa. The group was four in number in the late 90s called Gambia music legends.
They made a reggae music album called Praises. The album was a big hit all over the world. They also produced a second album called more war, also a big hit in 1999. Ranking had a lot of musical tours in many places in West Africa as well as a lot of other songs with other artists in West Africa.
Ranking made songs with a number artists in Stockholm, Sweden and other European countries as well as also played concerts and shows across Europe.
