“We are happy at the end that justice has prevailed,” a relieved Akinyemi offered.
“It has been a difficult period for my client. He has been in Gambia since October, despite the fact that he has a valid contract with Al Arabi.

“I want to thank the lawyer, Jonas Vallina, who fought for the player right from the beginning of his ordeal.
“No player deserves to be badly treated this way and I will continue to fight for all players who find themselves in such situations.”
