Gambian forward Muhamed Sumareh netted his fourth goal of the campaign though it wasn’t enough as Pahang FA suffered a damaging 2-1 defeat to Felda United that put a big dent on their Malaysian Super League title ambitions.

The loss saw the gap widened from six points to nine points after Johor Darul Ta’zim emerged victorious against Sanna Nyassi’s bottom-club Pulau Pinang.

Pahang started strongly and got the lead through their Gambian whizz-kid Sumareh in the first minute of the match but everything went downhill from there conceding in the 5th and 88th minute respectively.
Elsewhere, defender Abdou ‘T-Boy’ Jammeh debuted for his new club PKNS in their 1-1 home draw with Melaka United while Mamadou ‘Futty’ Danso’s Kelantan FA were beaten 2-0 at home by Sarawak.
