Trace Thullah Entertainment will hold its first Fashion Awards in The Gambia.
The event will take place at Paradise Suites Hotel (Pencha-Mi Hall) on February 2nd 2018.
Yusuf Thullah, the founder of the Awards said the organization was founded in The Gambia with the mission of promoting and supporting fashion and entertainment activities in The Gambia and beyond.
Fifty golden statuettes will be awarded on that day to deserving recipients. Thirty-five in the fashion and entertainment category, five other categories will be awarded to those that contributed to the creative aspect of this industry; and the final ten awards will go to the most recognized fashionable personalities in the country.
The Gambian fashion industry is growing and it is time to recognize all the industry players in order to motivate and encourage them to take the industry to higher heights, says the founder.
The industry has brilliant designers, models and promoters that have been working tremendously hard through the years and they deem it fit to publicly recognize their talent and creativity to promote the industry to world class standard.
Gambia Fashion Awards (GFA) plans to be a yearly event in promoting fashion and entertainment throughout the country and beyond.
