Standing from left in dark glasses is late Ambassador Omadi Diarra, (1932-1995), a consummate Gambian diplomat, who was in 1978 Gambian high commissioner to Senegal, and accredited ambassador to Conakry; next to him is Eric Christensen (1923-1990), the SG, President’s Office from 1968-1978; next to him is Ambassador Kassoury Bangoura, who was the legendary Guinean envoy to Banjul in the 1970s, he is dressed in the typical Chairman Mao style Guinean dress code under Sekou Toure; others are AB Njie (1904-1982) then Vice President; and Sir D K Jawara, President, dressed in white khaftan. The rest I do not recognise. May be some reader would be of help. Thank you .
