The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubacarr Tambadou, yesterday tabled six bills before lawmakers at the National Assembly.

The Constitution (Amendment), Gambia Anti-Corruption, Information and Communication (Amendment), National Human Rights Commission (Amendment), Women’s (Amendment of Discriminatory Laws), and the Sexual Offences (Amendment) bills 2019 were all tabled.
“These bills have been read for the first time,” the Speaker of the House Mariam Jack-Denton said, adding that the AG will move a motion for the respective bills to be read a second time today.
