Gambian coach Tapha Manneh will tomorrow lead his LISCR in to the second leg of the semi finals of the Liberian FA cup and he knows they cannot afford another slip. Last Friday the Gambian lost for the first time in 26 games when Keitrace FC halted the unbeaten run of LISCR FC with a 3-2 victory at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia
The defeat was also LISCR’s first out of 26 games in all competitions.
Despite Friday’s result, Coach Manneh is still hopeful of making a comeback in the second leg.
“Losing doesn’t mean it’s an end to our life. Nothing can stop us from qualifying. I’ll feel disappointed losing to Keitrace in the end, but losing is not an option for us. We are in the position to win all of the two competitions and we are going for all,” Coach Manneh said.
LISCR now need to secure a 2-0 win to secure their slot in the finals, but after after scoring three away goals Keitrace has a greater chance of reaching the final. But Can Tapha Manneh pull this one?
