“The pros and cons of such a topic cannot be over emphasized, what we need to do is, to give an evidential fact that will make us see why irregular migration should be discouraged,” Mr. Fofana added.

He disclosed that students who emerged outstanding during the debate will be offered scholarships and equally urge them (students) to embrace and make best use of the platform to improve their networking skills.

The registrar of the college, Musa Njie, called on students to attentively listen to the participants and learn from their argument.

He said irregular migration is a burning issue requiring the participation of all citizens to sensitise the masses on its impacts.

The President of the Stratford Student’s Union Ousman Jobe, commended the school authorities for always standing by its student core and providing them with an effective learning platform to showcase their intellectual capabilities.

He further assured students that his administration will work intensively to provide students and the school a name that it would be proud of.
