The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic football league matches in both the men’s and women’s categories have gone on recess. This means that matches scheduled between the 19th and 22nd April, 2019, have been called off.
This four-day recess, according to the GFF Competitions Department, would mean that matches scheduled between the aforesaid days would be rescheduled. However, rescheduled dates would be communicated to the concerned teams accordingly. The league season nonetheless would resume on 23rd April, 2019 with FF Cup Round of 32 matches.
At this point the Gambia Armed Forces leads the pack at 19 points.
