Armed Forces blew a life time opportunity to open a potential title winning lead in the GFF league after drawing their match in hand against Banjul United Wednesday. The match ended one all with GAF coming out with just a point. The soldiers are now squared with Real de Banjul at 39 points but a point behind Brikama United who leads at 40 points.
All the teams have just two matches to go with Brikama United and GAF meeting in the last fixture. That is the match many dubbed as the decider. Anything other than a win could mean that both teams risk losing out to Real who can win both their remaining fixtures. In short Real is hoping GAF and Brikama will cancel each other preferably in a draw. Barring any draw or defeat Brikama is sure to be champions. All matches are at the Independence Stadium.
