Press release In a bid to create further awareness of the activities of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF), and in line with the executive committee’s communications direction, the Marketing and Communications Department of the GFF will introduce series of activities beginning with a semi-weekly in-depth analysis of the federation’s activities, especially the domestic football competitions. Beginning Monday 10 December, 2018, the department will introduce an hourly talk show on our YouTube channel and Facebook page aimed at reviewing the activities of the Federation over the previous week and a look ahead to the upcoming events of the new week with great emphasis on the domestic league and cup competitions in both male and female categories. The show, which will be streamed live from noon to 1pm, will be held every Monday and Thursday and will be hosted by Bakary B Baldeh. He currently serves as the GFF communications officer. In announcing these developments, the director of marketing & communications, GFF, Baboucarr Camara, said since communication is the heart of every organisation, it is, imperative for the federation to communicate effectively to achieve our football development goals. He added that this will help to consolidate the good relationship between the GFF and its stakeholders and the general public. “This can in turn improve morale and efficiency. When we communicate effectively, information flows freely and this always has a positive impact on customer satisfaction, in this case our stakeholders,” Mr Camara said. “It is in this spirit that in the new year also, we are also going to engage the media fraternity on a day’s workshop that will seek to acquaint them with the general operations of the federation and tools of mass communication in tandem with Fifa/Caf principles.
