After its successful refurbishment and equipping, the GFF Football Hotel has started operations on a small scale.
A senior management team and a skeletal staff have been recruited and a management board has also been appointed.
Already several GFF activities were held at the Hotel in the year 2017, saving the Federation nearly D2,000,000 in hotel expenses. Some of them were on camp with full board whilst some were off camp. These include: the first Summer Youth Camp for 20 boys and 20 girls from schools in the West Coast, Region Kanifing Municipality and Banjul; training of coaches of women’s football teams; and physical education teachers; farewell cocktail reception in honour of Mrs Monika Staab German women’s football expert; and the Fifa member association elite referee training Course among others.
