According to a GFF press release the training team arrived in LRR over the weekend.
The course will be on basic instructions of refereeing and laws of the game. There would also be theoretical and practical sessions during the training which will also serve as assessment for the participants.
The first phase of the programme was conducted in January and covered the Upper River Region (URR) and Central River Region (CRR), while the North Bank benefitted was covered in the second phase. The final leg of the tour will be conducted later and will cover the KM, West Coast Region and Banjul.
The training programme is in fulfillment of the GFF Executive Committee’s football development agenda, which is to help build the technical capacity of all regional stakeholders.
