Police reward Gina with house

The Gambia Police Force yesterday announced it has purchased a piece of land on which it will build a house for Sub- Inspector Gina Bass.

Gina is the national recorder holder in 100 and 200m women race and has reached the semifinal of the current Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Sub Inspector Gina Bass was received at the Police Headquarters as she arrived hotfoot from Tokyo. Deputy Inspector General Momodou Sowe and the Police High Command welcome and commended her for her performance and good representation of The Gambia.

“The entire GPF and the nation as a whole are proud of the terrific performance you did at the Tokyo Olympics,” Sowe told Gina.

DIG Sowe concluded by announcing that a piece of land has been purchased for Gina to be built to completion and handed over to her in honor of her accomplishment.
