Senegal and Liverpool striker Sadio Mané will visit The Gambia early next month as guest of the Sports Journalists’ Association of The Gambia (SJAG).
The star currently on leave at his native Bambaly in Casamance was formally invited to the Gambian sport press’s annual award gala, happening this year on July 3.
Musa Sise, the President of the SJAG over the weekend led a delegation to Bambaly where they officially met and handed the invitation. The delegation presented him with the Gambia national football team jersey and his invitation to the gala. Mané said the shirt was the best gift he ever got this year.” This was an amazing encounter and memorable meeting with this young man whose humility and kindness is rare. We at the SJAG are proud and honour him as our guest,” Sise said.
