“We the undersigned First and Second Division Clubs of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) wish to inform our partners and the general public that pursuant to a consultative meeting with the Leadership of the GFF held at the Paradise Suites Hotel on Saturday 30th June, 2018, we had had a frank and open discussion with the team where we raised our concerns/issues and commendations.

The leadership of the GFF have reacted and addressed all matters to our satisfaction. We also want to highlight the achievements of Gambian football in the past four years where the Federation has given unprecedented support to the league clubs in the two divisions.
With the events of the past weeks, where our fellow GFF members, the seven Regional Football Associations and the five Allied Associations have all endorsed the candidature of the current leadership of the GF President Mr. Lamin Kabba Bajo and his team, we the undersigned clubs are also pleased to join the bandwagon and announce that we have thus endorsed Mr. Bajo and team for the 2018 Elective Congress.

We are cognisant of the current GFF leadership’s commitment to sound management and ensuring excellence in our football administration. It is important to note that continuity and teamwork is paramount in ensuring the desired results by all. Thus, we hope that all stakeholders will continue to work together for the interest of Gambian football.”
