Title winning Gamtel coach Sulayman Kuyateh has said he would like to coach the Gambia national team in future. “I am very ambitious. I want to be a Coach in the Gambia National Team one day.
“That is why I am trying to learn more on football so that I can be the national team coach”, he told Omroezeelande.nl in the Netherlands.
Kuyateh is in the Netherlands for a two-week intensive training course to abreast himself with advance techniques as well as learn new coaching skills.
Until Kuyateh’s departure to the Netherlands, he was unbeaten in the league division one with three games remaining.
Sulayman Kuyateh is expected to return on May 12, the day his already crowned champions will meet his former club Brikama United in their final match of the season.
Gamtel is enjoying their second title after Coach Tapha Manneh, who is now with LISCR FC in Liberia led them to their maiden League title in 2015.
