Dan Briad, a renowned football writer writing in thefootballtransfertavern.com has strongly urged West Ham boss Emanuel Pelegrini to invest in youth talent in the likes of Gambian Musa Barrow of Atalanta this January.
According to Briad having seen Marko Arnautovic stumble off injured, like he has done a couple of times this season, pace and goal-scoring ability of the bench would be brilliant for West Ham and to allow that, they need to sign Atalanta’s Musa Barrow.
Barrow, (who is valued at £5.4 million on Transfermarkt) burst onto the Italian Serie A scene last season, having bossed the reserves league with Atalanta, scoring 23 goals in 18 games.
The centre-forward then proceeded to score three times for their first team as the 19-year-old fully announced himself as a young talent.

This season has been no different and The Gambia international has scored four goals in six appearances, including a hat-trick in a Europa League qualifier.
West Ham have been facing troubling times already this season but one thing is for sure, they have goals in the team but that threat could be increased with Musa Barrow in their ranks as well.
Whilst Lucas Perez and Javier Hernandez are great forwards in their own right, Musa Barrow is an energetic forward blessed with phenomenal pace that could be a brilliant asset for West Ham to bring on from the bench for example.
