The national female football league ended on Sunday with Berewuleng FC thrashing Lower Nuimi 6-1 to win the D200,000 women’s second division league title in the final round of matches. Siray Jatta scored a hat-trick with Nyima Sanneh, Kaddy Drammeh and Nancy Dacosta all grabbing a goal in the whitewashing of the Niumi Girls.
The Brikama side now moves to play in the women’s first division next season.
Future Bi, who finished second in the league table thrashed Hart FC of Lower River Region 6-0 and received D100,000 while Jeshwang were rewarded with D50,000 for finishing third.
