Federation first vice president and spokesman Buba Janneh revealed in a Standard interview that the fixtures for the remainder of the league and other programmes have been drawn with only minor changes such as dates. “It is a matter of picking up from where they stop, but of course dates has to be changed as you know, following the stoppages,” Janneh said.
The weekend programme is mainly the FA Cup with matches featuring mouth watering clashes spread from Friday to Saturday.
The league shall resume on Tuesday next week when the programme enters week sixteen.
GFF league and other matches were stopped following the suspension of by the National Sports Council of the GFF executive committee in the wake of the recent football saga which dramatically came to a seemingly amicable resolution with both sides burying the hatchet, a move welcome in many quarters.
