Finance minister Keita formally takes over as chair of African IMF/world bank caucus

The Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Seedy KM Keita, has formally assumed the chairmanship of the African Caucus of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. The formal handing over took place in New York on Tuesday. The Gambia’s chairmanship was first announced at the 2025 meeting in Bangui, Central African Republic attended by finance ministers, central bank governors, and development partners from across Africa.
