AC Horsens have accepted two bids from Belgian club Cercle Brugge and Danish side FC Midtjylland for Gambia international Bubacarr Sanneh.
Midtjylland and Cercle Brugge, who are owned by French Ligue 1 champions AS Monaco, made bids in excess of €600,000 which was accepted by Horsens but both clubs failed to agree personal terms with the former Real de Banjul defender.
Ten-time Danish champions Brøndby IF are mooted as a possible destination for the 22-year-old defender but their offer was rebuffed by the player as they couldn’t guarantee him playing time with the club preferring loaning him back to Horsens.
Meanwhile, The Standard understands that the player will stay at the club until January with a view to making a switch to a club outside Scandinavia.
He is Horsens’ top goal scorer with two goals after seven appearances, clocking 540 minutes.
