To stand alone
In company of self-proclaimed saints
I stood out unholy
At the visit of self-overrated humans
I become the uninformed
In the company of the politically correct
I become the unsung politician
Yes
I am not afraid
When men of little faith gather
To stand alone
Than be accompanied
In silence
When Justice is humiliated
When truth is abused
I am not afraid
To nurse its wounds
When the disadvantaged heckled
I stand alone to shield them
I am not afraid
To rot in poverty
Than wallow in enslaving wealth
I am not afraid
To stand alone
To be at peace with my conscience.
Oh yes
I am not afraid
To stand alone
