District chairman Ousman Marreh told The Standard that they met the BYSA leadership and team representatives on the crisis, adding that both meetings were successful.
“As the District that has jurisdiction over BYSA we have been tasked to find out what happened and come out with a report that will not side with any group in the conflict and submit same to the Regional Sports Committee,” he said.
He however said shortly before they met the team representatives, they had received a letter from the secretary of the team representatives on behalf of group calling themselves ‘concerned team reps’ who had expressed a different opinion.
”But again the chairman of the team representatives was among the lot we met and discussed with. We will send our findings to the regional body first,” he said, declining to give further details.
