The guidelines spelt out the criteria each body must satisfy in order to be registered as a national sports federation, association or committee. Below is full details of the latest criteria set by the NSC.
-All National Sports Federations/Association/Committee must have at least 8.clubs to meet the required standard of a National Sporting bodies
– All National Sports Federations/ Associations/Committees must cover at least four (4) regions/municipalities in order to ensure that their activities are decentralized;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees must be able to organise annual National Championships5.All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees must affiliate to their parent International bodies;
– All National Sports Federation/Association/Committees must pay an annual affiliation fee to NSC to be determined by the National Sports Council;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees are required to conduct their AGM and Congress as stipulated in their constitutions and National Sports Council shall monitor their process;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees shall submit end of year report s and audit report to National Sports Council;
-All National Sports Federation/Association/Committees are required to submit their plans of action and national/international calendar of activities annually to NSC1;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees must obtain clearance from National Sports Council before traveling out of the country;
– All National Sports Federation/Association/Committees must have a Bank Account in the name of the Federations/Associations/Committees;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees must have a functional Executive;
– All National Sports Federations/Associations/Committees must have an office, contact numbers and an official email address.
