By Modou Lamin Beyai French Ligue 2 club Stade de Reims have sent Gambian midfielder Hassane Kamara on loan to third-tier side Créteil-Lusitanos. The 22-year-old defensive midfielder, who was born in Saint-Denis, France, to Gambian parents, was signed by Reims on a four-year contract but has now been sent on loan in search of first-team opportunities. “I was looking for time to play. I like Reims but I am young and I need to play. I found an interesting challenge with a club that has just come down from Ligue 2 with good structures, so I am happy,” Kamara said shortly after completing his loan move. He was handed his full match debut in Créteil’s 3-1 home loss to USL Dunkerque on Saturday. Despite only signing a loan until June 2017, Reims has the right to cut the move short with an option of a recall should the need arise.]]>
