The match will be the second time Tapha Manneh and his team will taste international meeting, after beating off Liberia in the first leg of the qualifiers in Monrovia which sent that nation into confusion. By their own admission, the Liberians say the Young Scorpions could have scored more goals than the lone one hammered by Bakary Daffeh. Nothing is at stake against Senegal, but the chance to fine tune against stiff opposition is a pleasant platform to plot a lethal confrontation against the real enemy.
Liberia’s noisy reaction to their defeat has aggravated the hunger to finish them and the boys would use the Senegal friendly tomorrow to prepare. The match kicks off at the Independence Stadium at 4pm.
