A statement from sources close to the GFF presidential aspirant Malick Sillah campaign announced with regret that the proposed unveiling of the Sillah Camp today has been moved to Wednesday.
According to a statement shared with The Standard from the camp, the postponement came about after key stakeholders including some-would be executive members, reported a time clash between the event and previously unplanned busy schedule.
Accordingly a new convenient date has been agreed for Wednesday 18 July at the Independence Stadium at 12 noon.

We have attached very serious thought and importance to this matter and we are therefore settling of nothing but a well serious event, the statement said. Mr Sillah is seeking to remove the four year reign of Lamin Kaba Bajo which his campaign accused of presiding over one of the worst chapters of Gambian football history despite huge resources at their disposal. Mr Bajo’s team has since promised greater development when trusted with another term. The election is slated for August 18.
