The Gambia National U-20 team coach Matar Mboge has tested positive for Covid-19, moments before his team flew out for camping in Morocco.
According to the Gambia Football Federation GFF, the media officer too, Adama Bah, tested positive and both have been dropped from the travelling party until they end their mandatory quarantine. They would however be on time to join the team for the start of the Afcon Under-20 in Mauritania hopefully after returning negative results at the end of the quarantine. The rest of the delegation have already land in Rabat in the early hours of Wednesday morning where they will be engaged in some test matches before proceeding to the U-20 African Cup of Nations finals beginning in Mauritania on February 14.
