Al-Quran Foundation Banjul has over the weekend donated food items to 15 families in Central River Region north.
The villages benefited from the ongoing ramadan family food packs distribution by the foundation under the leadership of Modou Lamin B. Bah.
This event took place at Sare Jabel Village- CRR North and its surrounding villages. This wonderful gesture is funded by Sheikh Mahmud Bin Sayeed and family together with Africa Relief Fund in United Kingdom.
Modou Lamin B. Bah, the president of the charity, said this is a social aid component of the foundation and such activity has been implemented years ago.
“But this year will be a mega one because our target is the whole country and the most vulnerable families, more especially the physically challenged.”
He took the opportunity to thank the donor partners in UK and also his team on the ground.
