A few days ago the trip hit hurdles after Royal Air Morocco declined to fly the team citing restrictions but once information on the lifting of the restrictions was transmitted to Monrovia, the coast was clear for the team to fly to Banjul.
The team confirmed their departure from Monrovia yesterday afternoon through postings on the club’s facebook page.
It also reported that the team played two warm up matches winning by a big margin.
